摘要： A panel clamping jaw for a railing assembly comprises two jaw parts1, 14fixable together, preferably separably to define a channel25between them dimensioned to accommodate an edge of a panel66such that the channel can be assembled around the panel edge rather than the panel edge inserted into a pre-constructed channel. A first one of the two jaw parts1is fixable to a railing component to mount the panel and defines a first wall part. A second one of the two jaw parts14is fixable to the first jaw part1by a pivoting action and has a second wall part which is placed in spaced apposition to the first wall part by this action. A retaining pin60may also be held between the jaws and may pass through a hole in the panel to further secure it in place. The invention extends to an apparatus or kit of parts comprising the jaws, a railing assembly and a method of assembling a panel to a railing assembly.
