The feed beam (22) is moved in steps between two cutting passes by providing two gripping jaws (40, 41), one fixed and one movable, for each guide (12, 13; 51, 52) and allowing one gripping jaw of each guide in turn to grip while the other is released, the movable gripping jaw (41) being displaced a predetermined length along the guide with the fixed gripping jaw in the gripping position.

    摘要: A concrete cutting machine for remoting the upper layer of a concrete layer and free the outmost layer of reinforcement bars in the concrete, comprises a vehicle (11) with a transverse feed beam (22) that carries a carrier with two water jet nozzles (31, 32) mounted together on an elongated holder (30). The holder (30) is swingable about an axis transverse to the feed beam so as to provide for an angle of attack of the jets in both carrier moving directions when the carrier is reciprocated along the feed beam in concrete cutting sweeps. The holder (30) is also oscillated transverse to the feed beam. The angle between the jets is between (10 and 50) degrees as seen in the plane of oscillations and this provides for a freeing of the reinforcing rods whatever directions they have.

    摘要: The outer layer of concrete roadbeds and other exposed concrete surfaces erode and deteriorate, and, when being deteriorated, the outer layer must be removed and replaced by a new concrete layer. A tube (22) with a nozzle (23) at its end can be used for removing the concrete by a water jet. The tube is mounted on a carriage (20) that reciprocates along a feed beam (15). The tube is pivotable in two planes and hydraulic motors (rotary motors (21,24) and hydraulic cylinder (26)) are used for the movements of the tube and the carriage. The hydraulic motors are controlled by an electronic control unit (40) that controls distributing valves (42-44) for the hydraulic conduits (hoses) of the motors. Flow meters in the form of electric pulse transmitters (56,57,58) in the hydraulic conduits of the motors are coupled to the control unit (40). The pulse transmitters are positioned at a distance from the feed beam, and hydraulic lines but no electric lines lead to the feed beam.
