In accordance with the invention, it is provided that the material and/or the quality of the cover film (9) is selected in such a manner that the cover film (9), in a first state, lies flat against and/or on the upper side of the basic film (3) at least substantially in the region of the free spaces (11) and, preferably by convection of the heated air in the covered area, in a second state at least partially lifts off relative to the upper side of the basic film (3) forming free spaces (11), wherein the first state is maintained up to a transition temperature T 1 of the greenhouse climate and wherein the second state is obtained and/or realized from the transition temperature T 1 of the greenhouse climate.

The invention refers to a plastic film for ground covering with formed edges along its sides that is destined for agricultural use. Each formed edge is folded twice towards the same direction, in such a manner that the first folding (4) has width (b) less than (c) of the second folding (5) and preferably half the width of the latter. The superimposed parts of each formed edge are welded to each other with successive weldings (7i) along its length, preferably transverse and in such a manner that the first folding (4) alongside with the second folding (5) are welded to main body (1) of the plastic film but not to each other. Moreover the first folding (4) is welded to the main body (1) with successive stamp-weldings (8) that can be of any shape and preferably oval or circles having not larger dimensions than half the width (b) of the first folding (4) and are located preferably halfways between two successive transverse weldings (7i). In this manner the weight insertion pockets are formed, that also have an opening for inserting the weight in each pocket almost equal to the length of each pocket. The stamp-weldings (8) pull the first folding (4) towards the main body (1) of the plastic film where it clings in order to close the weight insertion openings and trap soil in the pockets.

We present the invention of a plastic sheet for the total ground covering of linear cultivation of asparagus or any other linear cultivation covered in low tunnels. The characteristic of the plastic sheet for the total ground covering of linear cultivation is that it covers the whole area of the cultivated land and not only the planted rows, as it happens with common plastic sheets for ground covering (which cover under 40% of the cultivated land). In combination with the rest of the plastic sheet's attributes, this gives us a control of the yield of the cultivation as a result of passive heating, weed-killing without the use of pesticides, or even controlling the crops. In this way, the plastic sheet for total ground covering can offer maximum crops earliness and quality as well as the best possible conditions for the farmer to move on the cultivated surface.

A multilayer plastic film for perennial agricultural use (1) either in greenhouses or under low tunnels (2) that, self-adjusts the shading provided in the covered space (4). The shading effect can be present in the whole surface of the film, or it could be partial at specific surfaces (3) where shading would be most needed. The shading is achieved by incorporating a photochromic compound or a combination of photochromic compounds in a layer of multiple layers in a multilayer film (1). The layer or layers that incorporate the photochromic compound or compounds are protected from oxidation by bilateral layers that incorporate materials that exhibit low permeability to gases and in particular to oxygen. The advantage of the film is that the grower would not need to apply any shading material on the surface of the film and/or any mechanism to facilitate opening and closing of the shading material.
