摘要： A bulk material mixing apparatus, for use on a vehicle, comprises a container body (11) with a discharge zone (24) and a non-discharge zone (26). A rotatable shaft (38) is arranged within and extends along the body (11). The shaft (38) carries a forward ribbon augers (39) in the form of three formed sweep bars (40) and a return ribbon auger (49) in the form of three return sweep bars (50). The augers (39, 49) are arranged so that, on rotation of the shaft, the forward ribbon auger (39) urges material forwardly from the non-discharge zone (26) to the discharge zone (24) and the return ribbon auger (49) urges material in a return direction, substantially opposite to the forward direction.

摘要： Mixer vehicle is typically a tractor drawn and powered trailer for mixing and distribution of bulk materials such as farm animals feedstuffs. It comprises a semi-cylindrical body (10) having a side discharge opening (22) with a single longitudinal agitation rotor (36) centred therein, the rotor having helical sweep bars (40) rotating close to the body wall in at least the body part not occupied by the opening acting as a skeleton auger driving material along the body into its discharge zone, and a lesser diameter return auger (50) in the latter zone acting to return material from that zone so that the material is circulated for mixing. When a door (28) is opened the action of the rotor discharges the material through the opening where it may be further acted on by a faster feed-out rotor (34).

摘要： A material spreader 10 comprises a container 12 carried by a chassis. A conveyor assembly 40 arranged at the rear of the container 12 carries a series of cutting blades 50. The conveyor 40 acts to cut off portions of material in the store. Spreaders in the form of two spreading rotors 58, 60 are arranged separately from the conveyor 40 to spread the material. In another aspect, a first conveyor assembly 26 urges material in the container 12 towards a second conveyor assembly 40 which carries cutting blades 50. The conveyors are arranged transverse to each other whereby the second conveyor acts to cut material in the container 12. In a third aspect of the invention the cutting conveyor 40 is movable towards and away from an opening in the container, which the conveyor 40 closes off.
