Abstract: The accuracy of monitoring of electrical equipment for the occurrence of partial discharge is improved more. A physical quantity to be caused when partial discharge occurs in electrical equipment (1) under inspection is detected as an electrical signal. Based on a detected waveform indicative of a change over time in the amplitude of the electrical signal thus detected, a differential waveform constituted by the difference in amplitude between the detected waveform and a waveform obtained by shifting the detected waveform by m periods (m: an integer equal to or more than 1) of the power supply frequency of the electrical equipment (1) is calculated. In an amplitude distribution of data of the differential waveform, a distribution near zero is regarded as a normal distribution. An amplitude threshold (TA) is calculated from a standard deviation (σ) and a scale factor (X) set in advance in the normal distribution. The time when the amplitude exceeds the amplitude threshold (TA) is taken as partial discharge occurrence time, a partial discharge signal is extracted from the differential waveform thus calculated, and the occurrence state of the partial discharge in the electrical equipment (1) under inspection is evaluated based on the partial discharge signal thus extracted.

A sound wave receiving device 5 includes: an aerial vehicle 10 having rotor blades 12; an array sensor 21 mounted on the aerial vehicle 10 and including a plurality of microphones 21a; a first shielding member 40 installed between the rotor blades 12 and the array sensor 21, and suppressing an influence of sound wave noise generated by the rotor blades 12 on a sound wave received by the array sensor 21; and a second shielding member 50 provided along a peripheral portion of the array sensor 21, and suppressing reception by the array sensor 21 of external sound from outside a sound wave reception range set in advance for the sound wave.-

An ultrasound source azimuth determining apparatus includes a camera configured to pick up an image of a measured object; an array sensor configured to measure a sound pressure of ultrasound originating from a direction of the measured object; computing means for generating a sound pressure map on the basis of sound pressure information of ultrasound acquired by the array sensor, and superimposing the sound pressure map and a picked-up image acquired by the camera to generate a composite image; and display means for displaying the composite image. The array sensor includes a total of greater than or equal to 9 and less than or equal to 25 surface mount sensors, and at least some of the surface mount sensors are arranged on an X-axis and a Y-axis in the same plane.-

Abstract: A device for determining sound source direction includes an array sensor including a plurality of microphones that measures a sound wave, and computing means for calculating a sound pressure in each direction based on sound pressure information of the sound wave obtained by the array sensor and determining a direction in which the sound pressure is maximum as a direction of sound wave arrival. The plurality of microphones is provided at vertices of two or more concyclic polygons that are on same plane and that have same center, and are arranged so as to be non-rotationally symmetric as a whole array sensor.
