摘要: An electronic lock (20) with manual combination override (90) for opening of a lock by both an electronic (100) and manual (34, 90) means. The electronic lock (20) has a bolt (17) operating release mechanism (40) which operates to allow opening of the lock (20) by either the electronic or manual mode. The electronic and manual modes both operably open the lock through operation of the bolt operating release mechanism (40). The bolt operating release (40) is a multi-component assembly (42, 50, 60) operable as a unit or relative to each component dependent on the mode of operation. The electronic mode is operable by use of electronic components which include but are not limited to, pressure-sensitive switches (102), logic circuitry (106), and a circuit mounting board (103). An electronic combination is generated, retained and operable with the electronic components to open the lock.

摘要: L'invention se rapporte à une serrure électronique à combinaison (20), qui permet l'accès à un lieu fermé ou sûr et qui comprend un mécanisme de verrouillage (36) destiné à passer d'une position verrouillée à une position déverrouillée et vice-versa. Une roue à came rotative (47) comporte une surface circonférentielle dans laquelle est ménagée une fente qui se déplace avec la rotation de la roue à came. Un levier mobile (46) est couplé au mécanisme de verrouillage de façon à faire passer ce dernier d'une position verrouillée à une position déverrouillée et il est conçu pivotant de façon à pouvoir se placer en prise et hors de prise avec la roue à came. Le levier mobile se place en prise avec la roue à came de sorte que la rotation de celle-ci change la position du mécanisme de verrouillage. Une tige libre à une extrémité (52) et une détente (54) se trouvant sur le levier maintiennent de façon libérable le levier dans une position hors de prise avec la roue à came. Un solénoïde (62, 98, 100, 106, 108, 110, 112) et une détente extensible (96) amènent le levier se trouvant dans sa position hors de prise à se se placer en prise avec la roue à came, pour que la rotation de celle-ci fasse passer le mécanisme de verrouillage de sa position verrouillée à sa position déverrouillée.

摘要: A programmable time lock (9) includes a microprocessor (32), which senses the angular position of a key shaft (16) via a sensor/encoder (13). The microprocessor (32) includes ROM (33) and RAM (35) memory circuits, a timer (37), and a clock (39), and it can activate a stepper motor (42) to control the position of a detent pin (18). The microprocessor (32) is also connected to a display (12), which has fields for hours (20), minutes (24) and seconds (26), as well as for the days of the week (28), for a cursor (30) for each day, and for a low-power indicator. System time, as well as opening times for the lock may be set and changed simply by turning the key (11) according to predefined routines. A method for operating the lock includes sets of steps for each of several routines.

摘要: An electronic combination lock (20) is disclosed which allows access to a closed or secure location wherein the lock includes a locking mechanism (36) for operating between a locked condition and an unlocked condition. A rotatable cam wheel (47) has a circumferential surface portion defining a slot such that rotation of the cam wheel moves the slot. A moveable lever (46) is coupled to the locking mechanism for changing the condition of the locking mechanism from the locked condition to the unlocked condition and is pivotably moveable into and out of engagement with the cam wheel. The moveable lever engages the cam wheel such that rotation of the cam wheel changes the condition of the locking mechanism. A cantilever (52) and detent (54) on the lever releasably maintain the lever in a position disengaged from the cam wheel. A solenoid (62, 98, 100, 106, 108, 110, 112) and projectable detent (96) moves the lever from its disengaged position for engaging the lever with the cam wheel so that rotation of the cam wheel changes the locking mechanism from the locked condition to the unlocked condition.
