摘要： A large, thin, generally planar panel constructed from blow-molded plastic may include a first surface, a second surface, and a hollow interior portion disposed between the first and second surfaces. The panel may include a nominal panel thickness (PT), which may be the distance between the first surface and the second surface, and a nominal wall thickness (WT), which may be the thickness of the outer wall of the blow-molded plastic structure. A plurality of depressions may be integrally formed in the second surface and a nominal distance (D) separating adjacent depressions may be measured from an edge of one depression to an edge of the adjacent depression. The relationship between the nominal panel thickness, the nominal wall thickness, and the nominal distance between adjacent depressions is shown by the equation WT • PT • D ≤ .030.

摘要： A personal table (10) is provided having a table top (16) supported by a support assembly (14). The table top (16) is preferably constructed from blow-molded plastic and the support assembly (14) preferably includes a first leg (30a) and a second leg (30b) that are pivotally connected. The legs (30a 30b) desirably have a generally X-shaped configuration when the legs are placed in an upright position and the legs can be collapsed into a storage position. Each of the legs (30a, 30b) may include a lower portion (32a, 32b), a body portion (34a, 34b) and an upper portion (36a, 36b) that is preferably selectively connected to the table top (16). The legs (30a, 30b), for example, can be connected to the table top (16) by inserting the upper portions (36a, 36b) of the legs into leg receiving recess (50) formed in the table top (16). The leg receiving recesses (50) are preferably integrally formed in the bottom surface of the table top as part of a one-piece construction. Desirably, a plurality of leg receiving recesses (50) are formed in the bottom surface of the table top (16) and the legs (30a, 30b) can be selectively attached to the leg receiving recesses in order to vary the height of the table.

摘要： A lightweight, inexpensive folding chair (10) may have a seat (18) with an interference fit support bracket (74,76). The seat may have a seat member (72) constructed of a lightweight material, such as a blow-molded plastic, that is generally supported by two such support brackets (74,76). The support brackets (74,76) may be affixed to the seat member (72) by sliding the seat member into interference engagement with the support brackets (74,76). The seat member is supported against bending in use to inhibit deformation and failure. The support brackets may have an enclosing shape so that the seat member is unable to move laterally or transversely out of engagement with the support brackets. The support brackets may have lips extending into the seat member to provide the enclosing shape. The support brackets may also have an arcuate shape to strengthen the support brackets against bending.
