    摘要： A pillow (10) is formed by a rectangular elastic pillow body (14) having convex surface contours along each of its length and width. Within the pillow body is an internal cavity (30). Partings (36, 38, 40, 42) in the pillow body, generally overlying the cavity side walls, divide the pillow body into to segments internally hinged to each other. This allows alteration of the compression of the pillow body along the convex surface contours in response to elastic excursions into the internal cavity by an applied load of a user's neck and head.
    In a preferred embodiment, the internal cavity is defined by a window in an elastic spacer (28). In this case, the pillow body is divided along a central plane to form two pillow body parts each with a planar face (24, 26). The spacer fits between these two pillow body parts, abutted by their planar faces.
