摘要： The present invention relates to a box for the transport of products in general, comprising the food ones, having a base and side edges which are connected to said base.
The box is made of wood, a natural biocompatible material and wherein the edges are movable between a lowered position, in which they are laid onto the base, and a raised position in which they delimit the containment volume of the box. The box can be reused, as it can be washed and sanitized, due to the treatment of surface varnishing by means of a transparent material suitable for food contact. In addition, the same treatment enables to maintain the variation of the box tare within the limits of the law regardless of the outer thermo-hygrometric conditions. The shape of the base perimeter, which forms a rim in relief, enables to stack the box easily in both configurations, with closed or open edges.
