摘要: The invention discloses a device for sensing end of warp yarn on a circular weaving machine (CWM). It has an improved drop wire and a device to detect the end of a running yarn on a CWM. The device also incorporates an electric circuit which is kept open during normal working of the loom. When a yarn break is detected by a yarn detection means which is also a part of the device, the electric circuit is completed and a notification is sent to the loom operator and the CWM is stopped. The invention is particularly suitable in dusty environment in which CWMs typically operate. The drop wire is provided with an electrically conducting first element having a spatially curved external surface. The device also incorporates a set of electrically conducting second elements having curved internal surfaces. Upon the loss of elevation of the first elements, the first and second elements come in electrical contact with each other, thereby completing the electric circuit and causing a signal to be sent indicating yarn breakage.

摘要: The invention discloses an apparatus for regulating winding tension as function of bobbin (2) diameter in a slit film tape or yarn (1) winder system carrying at least one automated winder. It comprises a dancing arm (3) equipped with a tension setting means or device (3B) which regulates the yarn tension. The inventive feature of the invention is that tension setting means (3B) is capable of changing resistance ‘R’ of the dancing arm (3) as a function of the bobbin (2) diameter ‘D’ during the winding process. The invention also provides a method for regulating winding tension as function of bobbin (2) diameter. The invention helps overcome a number of problems related to uniformness and consistency of package the fabric making industry is currently facing. It solves technical problem of winding bobbin throughout using same tension adjusted for dancing arm, resulting higher tension during unwinding at low bobbin sizes. It also helps reduce the necking or shrinkage of the fabric produced due to varying resultant winding tension.

摘要: The invention relates to an automatic turret type yarn winding device. The automatic bobbin changeover process involves winding of yarn on a bobbin, followed by rotation of the turret to bring an empty bobbin into the winding position. Pressure rollers are provided to ensure consistent and accurate winding. The accurate relative positioning of the bobbins and pressure rollers is important. Wear and tear and particulate dust may cause malfunctioning of winder systems which may affect accuracy of turret rotations and relative positioning of the bobbins and pressure rollers, especially when the turret rotation during bobbin changeover stage is done in a single rotation. The invention provides a device and a method to position spindle precisely in turret type automatic winder, especially to identify correct stationing position of turret spindle after reverse movement post doffing. It involves, during the bobbin changeover process, the step of rotating the turret in at least two discrete rotational movements carried out at controlled speeds, whereby the empty bobbin assumes its accurate winding position.
