    摘要: A measuring arm (12) is mounted to a frame body (5a) for supporting a screed (5). Height sensors (13 and 14) are mounted to the measuring arm (12), and another height sensor (19) is mounted to an arm (18) of the screed (5). The sensors (13, 14, and 17) are connected to an arithmetic unit (30), and the height sensor (19) to an arithmetic unit (40), respectively. The arithmetic unit (30) calculates a pavement thickness in response to signals output from the height sensors (13 and 14), and the arithmetic unit (40) detects unevenness of an unpaved surface in response to signals output from the height sensor (19), and controls the screed (5) so as to correct the unevenness. Operating conditions are set in the control device (30) by use of a recording medium such as an IC card.

    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a dust-control agent easily applicable to any kinds of dusty powder and a method for dust-control treatment of a dusty powder.
    The dust-control agent of the present invention comprises a mixture of fibrillatable polytetrafluoroethylene and a material in a state of solid grain or powder selected out of a pair of two kinds of materials which interact each other to make an exothermic reaction.
    The method for dust-control treatment of a dusty powder of the present invention comprises blending the dusty powder, fibrillatable polytetrafluoroethylene and a pair of two kinds of materials which interact each other to make an exothermic reaction, and giving the blended materials a compression-shear at an elevated temperature caused by the exothermic reaction between the pair of two kinds of materials to fibrillate the fibrillatable polytetrafluoroethylene and enclose the dusty powder.
    The dusty powder can be dust-controlled being enclosed with cobweb like ultra fine polytetrafluoroethylene fibrils without any external heat energy because the heat generated by an exothermic reaction between the pair of two kinds of materials which interact each other to make an exothermic reaction elevates the temperature to a degree to promote the fibrillation of polytetrafluoroethylene.

    摘要: A method of dusting-preventive treatment in which a powder having dusting property is treated with fibril-forming PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) to impart non-dusting property thereto and the non-dusting property of the powder, after having been reduced during transportation, are economically and advantageously recovered or improved through a relatively simple step. The method comprises: a first dusting-preventive treatment step in which fibril-forming polytetrafluoroethylene is added to a powder having dusting property, and a compression/shear force is exerted to the mixture at a temperature in the range of 20 to 200°C to thereby regulate powder so as to have a flow value of 150 mm to 200 mm; and a second dusting-preventive treatment step in which a compression/shear force is exerted again at a temperature in the range of 50 to 150°C, without newly adding fibril-forming polytetrafluoroethylene, to the resultant powder after the powder treated in the first step has deteriorated in dusting-preventive property during transportation with transporting means due to such an external force that the polytetrafluoroethylene fibrils partly cleave or powder particles partly fall off polytetrafluoroethylene fibril nets.
