摘要： A cutting implement employing a pair of rollers (10,12) placed in tandem with each other to provide a continuous cutting edge (34,36). Opposed faces (24,26) of the rollers (10,12) overlap (O v ) and touch at a selected position, forming a cutting point (42) where they touch. The rollers (10,12) are provided with a degree of toe-in (C b ) to ensure that they remain in contact with each other during the cutting process. Roller mounting carriers (80,82) are provided, rigidly connected to the rollers, to provide dimensionally predictable location of the rollers (10,12) with respect to each other, and tend to ensure the smooth flow of material (50) through the rollers (10,12) as the material (50) is being cut.
