    摘要： A system for quickly removing and installing check valve parts without disturbing system piping attached to a pump. The system includes a first adapter attached to the outlet of the pump head. The first adapter (10) includes a valve seat and a housing with a side wall having external threads. A second adapter (28) includes a hollow body with a space for a check valve (50). The body has an opening (40) in the side wall for inserting the check valve. The second adapter fits over the first adapter and the adapters are attached by means of a collar (70).. Tightening the collar onto the threads on the first adapter causes the check valve to be held firmly between the valve seat and the top wall of the second adapter.

    摘要： A pump with a gear pump assembly having an adapter spool (93) mounted to an electric motor. The pump assembly is designed to reduce manufacturing costs and to provide access for many service and maintenance tasks to be performed without breaking any of the pipe connections. The pump assembly also includes a splined shaft system (85) and a lubricating fluid circulation system with spiral grooves (300,301,302) located inside a pair of bearings disposed on opposite sides of the gear flights. The assembly also includes a replaceable precision liner (67) that surrounds the gear flights to maintain a tight tolerance for optimal performance of the pump. Also, an O-ring (73) disposed inside the front cover of the assembly provides for operation of the pump over a wide temperature variation with relatively loose manufacturing tolerances.

    摘要： A diaphragm metering pump suitable for metering an effervescent gas. The pump has a pump head with a product chamber having an inlet end with a one-way inlet valve and an outlet end with a one-way outlet valve. A displaceable diaphragm member defines a boundary of the product chamber. The diaphragm member is capable of being reciprocated to cause pumping displacements. A discharge side is disposed downstream from the outlet valve. A passageway is disposed in fluid communication between the discharge side and the product chamber. A valve is disposed in the passageway. The valve is opened intermittently to allow liquid to re-enter the product chamber in an amount effective to purge gas from the product chamber to prevent loss of prime.

    摘要： A computer (28) controlled metering pump. The displacement of a metering pump (10) is accurately monitored using a position sensor (13) connected to a piston. A control computer (28) receives the sensor signal as well as a desired pumping volume rate (119). The pumped volume is continuously monitored by the computer as a function of the piston displacement, and compared with the desired rate (119). The metering pump (10) is controlled to bring the pumped volume rate into agreement with the desired volumetric pumping rate.
