    摘要: A double valve includes a first unitary valve assembly and a second unitary valve assembly. Each unitary valve assembly includes a first outlet port, a second outlet port, and a spool. A first pilot assembly and a second pilot assembly are coupled to the first unitary valve assembly and the second unitary valve assembly, respectively. A plate is coupled to the unitary valve assemblies and includes a passage to provide a first common outlet passage that is coupled to the respective first outlet ports of the unitary valve assemblies and a second common outlet passage that is coupled to the respective second outlet ports of the unitary valve assemblies. When the spools are in a first position, fluid flows through the first common outlet passage, and when the spools are in a second position, the fluid flows through the second common outlet passage.

The first double valve (30) includes first and second crossover passages (70,71) and first and second pilots (34,36). A first interconnection (55) couples the first crossover passage (70) with the third pilot fluid inlet (47). A second interconnection (56) couples the second crossover passage (71) with the fourth pilot fluid inlet (50). A third interconnection (57) couples the third crossover passage (72) with the first pilot fluid inlet (34). A fourth interconnection (58) couples the fourth crossover passage (73) with the second pilot fluid inlet (36). Thus, operation of each pilot depends upon receiving pressurized fluid from the other double valve which is only present when the other double valve is not in a fault condition.

    摘要: A pneumatic control system is provided for selectively controlling movement of a pneumatically-operated device (20) between first and second working positions. The pneumatically-operated device (20) includes a working portion (30) and a pneumatic-control portion (32). The pneumatic-control portion (32) is in fluid communication with a pressurized fluid source (26) and includes a series of valves (64,66,70) for selectively manipulating the working portion (30) between the first and second working positions. The pneumatic-control portion (32) further includes a sensing system (56,58) for holding the working portion (30) in a static mode by selectively applying system pressure to the working portion (30). In this manner, a more energy efficient system is provided by eliminating the need for continuous application of full line pressure.
