摘要: Lettuce ( Lactuca sativa ) plants exhibiting resistance to Nasonovia ribisnigri biotype Nr:1 are provided, together with methods of producing, identifying, or selecting plants or germplasm with a Nasonovia ribisnigri biotype Nr:1 resistance phenotype. Such plants include lettuce plants comprising introgressed genomic regions conferring pest resistance. Compositions, including novel polymorphic markers for detecting plants comprising introgressed loci, are further provided.

摘要: The present invention relates to cucumber plants and parts thereof having increased resistance to Downy Mildew, by selecting for genetic markers on chromosomes 2, 4 and 5 being linked to genes associated with such increased disease resistance, e.g. by introgression of resistance genes from PI 197088. The present invention is based on methods of breeding cucumber plants from lines having increased Downy Mildew resistance by marker-assisted selection, compositions including nucleic acid probes or primers which are useful for such marker assisted selection.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for determining the genotype of a Cruciferous vegetable plant for a plant with an increased glucosinolate level, comprising obtaining a sample of nucleic acids from said plant or a portion thereof and detecting in said nucleic acids a polymorphism at the Myb28 locus that is genetically linked to an increased glucosinolate level.
