摘要: A rock bolt 10 comprising: an elongate, generally circular tube 12, the tube 12 having a leading end 14 and a trailing end 16, an expander mechanism 18 disposed within the tube 12 in the region of the leading end 14, an elongate tendon 28 disposed longitudinally within the tube 12 and in connection at or towards a first end 26 of the tendon 28 with the expander mechanism 18 and in connection at or towards a second 38 and opposite end of the tendon 28 with an anchor arrangement 30 positioned at the trailing end 16 of the tube 12, the tendon 28 being actuatable to actuate the expander mechanism 18 and to remain connected between the expander mechanism 18 and the anchor arrangement 30 while the expander mechanism 18 is actuated, wherein the anchor arrangement 30 includes a couple 44, 54, 66 which, under tensile loading of the tendon 28, has a first mode of operation that allows movement of the anchor arrangement 30 axially away from the trailing end 16 of the tube 12 and enabling further expansion of the expander mechanism 18, and a second mode of operation that couples the anchor arrangement 30 to the tube 12 preventing further movement of the anchor arrangement 30 axially away from the trailing end 16 of the tube 12.

摘要: A wear member assembly (10) has a wear member (22), a wear member receiver (20) with at least first and second contact portions and at least one aperture (80) to receive at least one wear member locating member (26) of the wear member. An attachment mechanism (44,46) releasably attaches the wear member to the receiver has at least one moveable attachment member (44) and at least one respective fastening means (44). Actuation of each of the fastening means moves the associated attachment member to apply a retaining force to one of the contact portions of the receiver and causes the respective wear member locating member to apply a retaining force to the other of the contact portions of the receiver. 摘要: A rock bolt for use in rock strata, particularly strata that is weak or unstable. The rock bolt (10) comprises a tube (12) that has a leading end (14) and a trailing end (16) and an expander mechanism (18) disposed within the tube (12) in the region of the leading end (14). An elongate bar (24) is disposed within the tube (12) and is connected at or towards a first end of the bar with the expander mechanism and is connected at or towards a second and opposite end of the bar (28) with an anchor arrangement (26) positioned at the trailing end (16) of the tube (12). The elongate bar (24) can actuate the expander mechanism (18) and remains connected between the expander mechanism (18) and the anchor arrangement (26) while the expander mechanism (18) is actuated. The tube (12) has a displaceable wall section (42) in the region of the leading end (14) which has a hinge end (52) proximal the leading end (14) connecting the displaceable wall section (42) to the tube (12), and side walls (46) extending from the hinge end (52) to an anchor end (48) distal to the leading end (14). The expander mechanism (18) can be actuated to displace the displaceable wall section (42) to rotate about the hinge end (52) to shift the anchor end (48) outwardly from the tube (12).
