Working oil (10) is filled up in respective volume-variable chambers (31 and 32) in the cylinder (1), which are defined by these check valve portion (9d) and partition portion (11c), so that a cusioning action takes place for controlling the movement of the movable shaft (2) when the movable shaft (2) is rotated in a predetermined direction. The damper mechanism, having the above-mentioned arrangement, achieves the aforesaid action, so that stability for a long period of time, durability and economies of construction can be secured.

    摘要: A door closer provided on a door, for automatically closing the door by a restoring force in the direction of closing the door, which has been accumulated in a spring for returning operation during the opening operation of the door, while exhibiting a damping force by a damper. The main body (1) of the door closer having the above damping function is not directly attached to the door as in the conventional door closer, but, has an arm (7) projecting from the main body (1) of the closer, which is attached to the door (18) by use of a metal fixture (8) pivotally mounted on the arm (7), for mounting the door, thus enabling the closer to be installed in a small space. An adjust arm (10) connected to a driving shaft for damping the main body (1) of the closer and rotatably projecting is attached to a top frame (19) through a top-frame-mounting plate (14) pivotally mounted on the adjust arm (10), and arm intersecting angle made by the both arms (7 and 10) is decreased when the door (18) is fully opened, whereby the characteristics of a stopper for holding the thus fully opened state is dispensed with, and further, the decreased intersecting angle made between the arms makes it possible to improve the degree of freedom in design of the main body (1) of the closer. Top surfaces (7a and 10d), and bottom surfaces (7b and 10e) of the arm (7) and the adjust arm (10) respectively are made flush with each other, differences in stage D1 and D2 are made equal, and the aforesaid driving shaft is exposed to the respective top and bottom surfaces of the main body (1) of the closer, thus permitting either right- or left-handed use of the door. A plurality of articulations are provided in the adjust arm (10), and the metal fixture (8) for mounting the door and the plate (14) for mounting the top frame are made detachable from each other, thus simplifying and facilitating the attaching to the door, replacement and maintenance.

    摘要: A rotary damper for damping an impact by an upward opening door or a toilet seat by applying a braking force to it when it is closed, which develops a larger damping force than a conventional damper using a viscosity shear resistance when the door is closed, thus enabling the door to be opened with a light force, wherein there are provided an arc inelastic part (2e) ranging from one circular end edge (2c) to the other circular end edge (2d) of the tubular shaft part (2a) of a movable shaft (2) inserted rotatably into a casing (1) and an eccentric elastic part (2f) made in contact elastically with the inner peripheral surface (1a) of the casing (1) by bending it outwards from the one circular end edge (2c) to the other circular free end edge (2d) so that the eccentric amount becomes gradually larger than the radius of curvature of the inner peripheral surface (1a) of the casing (1), whereby, when the movable shaft (2) is closed in the arrow R1 direction by the rotation of the door, a frictional force against the inner peripheral surface (1a) of the eccentric elastic part (2f) becomes larger and, when the door is open in the arrow R2 direction, to the contrary, the frictional force can be reduced remarkably.
