摘要: The present invention provides a record sheet used in an electro-coagulation printing method for forming characters and images on a cylinder as an electrode with an ink which coagulates with electric charge and for transferring the characters and images to the record sheet, wherein the wet time is 15 milliseconds or less, obtained from the absorption curve of pure water measured by a dynamic scanning absorptometer. Preferably, the record sheet has 5 ml/m 2 s -1/2 or more absorption coefficient, and more preferably, has contact ratio measured by a specular reflection smoothness tester under a pressure of 40 kg/cm 2 with a ray having a wavelength of 0.5 µm is 40 % or more. The record sheet can be used for various print sheets, in particular, for business form sheets and newspaper sheets.

摘要: Anti-falsification paper in which a thread is exposed at window portions provided on the surface of the paper, and which does not produce any cockles even when wound up continuously in a roll and has good appearance in terms of design is provided. This anti-falsification prevention paper is combination paper having at least two paper layers including an outermost layer and the other layer. Window portions are formed in the outermost layer at intervals in a longitudinal direction of the paper. In the window portions there are formed watermarks of letters or pictures, and a thread inserted between the outermost layer and the other layer is exposed at these window portions. The ratio between the length (X) of the window portions in the longitudinal direction of the paper and the length (Y) in the same direction of non-window portions between the window portions is set at 3:1 to 1:2 to securely prevent the formation of cockles during the winding of paper. This setting of the length ratio of the window portions to the non-window portions also offers preferable effect on the design.

摘要: A method of making watermarked paper, in which lace (2 or 20) is bonded to a wire cloth (3 or 30) so as to form a patterned net which is then mounted as a face wire on a cylinder mold (10) or a dandy roll (1) for a cylinder machine, and the cylinder mold (10) or dandy roll thus treated is used for papermaking. The method enables watermarked paper on which a delicate and complicated lace-like pattern is watermarked with an excellent gradation to be made readily at a low cost.

摘要: The present invention provides a slip sheet that protects a planographic printing plate in which the coefficient of static friction between corresponding surfaces of the slip sheet that contact an image-forming surface of the planographic printing plate is 0.35 or less, the surface strength of the slip sheet is 15 or more, or the Clark stiffness of the slip sheet is 20 to 50. In a production process of the planographic printing plate, the image-forming surface and the slip sheet are adhered by suitably charging, and following their lamination, the charge rapidly dissipates resulting in favorable separation, discharge characteristics and storage characteristics in an automatic plate feeder. In addition, sticking between the slip sheet and the image-forming surface during heat treatment can also be prevented simultaneously. This slip sheet is particularly effective for planographic printing plates of the heat mode type and photon mode type on which images are formed by exposure to laser light.

摘要: A method of manufacturing window opening thread-contained paper of which threads are exposed to intermittently formed window opening parts capable of using a device which has window opening parts with clear profile to which threads are assuredly exposed so that the threads are visible clearly and which is rather simple in structure, wherein a wet paper (1) with threads (T) buried in a paper layer is fitted closely and led to a center roll (3) with projections (2) disposed intermittently on the surface thereof at specified intervals and the surface of the wet paper on the projections is passed while being rubbed by an abrasively passing roll (4) so as to move fibers on the surface of the wet paper on the projections in order to form the exposed portion of the threads intermittently on the surface of the wet paper, and then the wet paper is dried using a normal method.
