摘要： The present invention provides an improved printer head (2) for using a detachable cassette (A), particularly the printer head stationary mounted on a print station for using a detachably loadable cassette on the station, the cassette integrally having an webbed label together with a platen roller (5) therein. In prior art, however, a conventional printer head is disadvantageous that an webbed label is often broken during the replacement of the cassette due to the absence of suitable locking mechanism to refuge the printer head from a platen roller so as to facilitate and ensure the safe replacement of webbed label when the cassette is replaced. In order to solve such disadvantages, the present invention provides an improved printer head (2) capable of constantly being held at a position apart from a platen roller (5) to refuge in the upper portion as far as no cassette (A) is loaded on the print station. The locking mechanism is released by manually operating a lever (23'), however, even if the manual lever (23') is operated contrary toward wrong direction due to the user's mis-operation, however, the printer head (2) of the present invention will return to a correct direction automatically in response to the absence of the platen roller (5) under the printer head.

摘要： A machine for wrapping articles in flexible film is described, as in EP-A-0174161. A method for wrapping an article (M) in a film (F) comprises extending the film which is fed by a film feed mechanism (2), at a predetermined part of a wrapping machine, the article being lifted into engaging contact with the film from below and folding at least one edge portion of the film underneath the article by a folding mechanism constituted by at least left, right and front folding plates (21,22,23), adjusting the tension of the fim by use of left, right and central clamping mechanisms (41.....) for clamping at least a front edge portion of the film laterally thereof at left, right and central portions and folding the lower edge portion of the film under the article; and prior to the wrapping of articles the operation timing of the machine is adjusted so as to set (a) a time difference between a time at which the left and right folding plates (21,22) start operating and a time at which the left (41,65,41′,65′) and right (41,67,41′, 67′) clamping mechanisms release the film (F), the adjustment being made on the basis of the width of the article to be wrapped (M) or of the length to which the film is cut, and (b) based on the length of the article, a time difference is adjusted between the time at which the front folding plate (23) starts operating and a time at which the central clamping mechanism (41,66,41′,66′) releases the film. Further film folding steps are described. Control apparatus for the wrapping machine includes means for control the operating time of the machine elements and for operatively actuating the elements in a predetermined relationship.

摘要： A film folding control apparatus is for a wrapping machine of the type in which a length of film fed by a film feeding mechanism is extended at a predetermined section of the wrapping machine, an article to be wrapped is raised into taut engagement with the extended film from therebelow, and the edges of the film are folded under the bottom of the article, thereby wrapping the article in the film, by a film folding mechanism comprising left, right and front folding plates. The control apparatus comprises data setting means for setting film length data, film tension data and tray type data in dependence upon a number of an article to be wrapped, a preset memory for storing these data in correspondence with the number of the article to be wrapped, and a control unit responsive to an input of the number of the article to be wrapped for reading the corresponding film length data, film tension data and tray type data out of the preset memory and for controlling, on the basis of the read data, the operating timing of such operating sections of the wrapping machine as the left, right and front folding plates and grippers for grasping both edges of the film.
A system for weighing, wrapping and pricing of articles includes said control apparatus and also appropriate memory means.-
