摘要： A tool for assembly on a drum (1) to form a rotatable unit to be placed in journalling equipment for rotation of the unit, said drum (1) comprising a cylindrical sleeve (7) and two end pieces (11, 12) and designed to carry a coil (5) of a flexible object (6), such as cable, said tool comprising two support and bearing elements (17, 18), each with a hub (21), a plurality of support arms (24) and a concentric support member (27) for centering the drum; and also a connecting member having a shaft (19) extending through the sleeve and said hubs (21), and anchoring means for anchoring the support and bearing elements to the shaft (19) while at the same time securing the sleeve (7) against axial displacement in relation to the shaft. According to the invention, the support arms (24) are arranged to abut the end pieces and have free ends (33) located radially inside the outer circular edge (37) of the end pieces so that the support arms (24) are not in contact with the ground when said unit is resting on the ground by means of the end pieces of the drum.

摘要： A disposable drum for instance for cable and line, consisting of a stable sleeve (1) having a predetermined inner diameter Dhi, two end elements (2, 3) and two central plugs (4, 5), each end element having an aperture (12) for the sleeve and receiving and firmly clamping the end portion of the sleeve between it and the plug, and the plug (4, 5) has a leading expansion part (19) which expands the sleeve when inserted, and an adjacent friction part (20) which produces friction engagement with the sleeve after full insertion of the plug and cooperates with the end element so that the sleeve is firmly clamped by friction engagement between the plug and the end element, said expansion part and the friction part having a combined axial dimension that is 50-200 % greater than the thickness of one end element. According to the invention the expansion part is conical with a conicity of less than 10°, and has a predetermined diameter D1 measured furthest away from the friction part and a predetermined diameter D2 at the transition to the friction part. The friction part is conical, with a conicity of less than 6°, that in each case is less than that of the expansion part, where D1 « Dhi and D2 > Dhi, viz. 2-10 mm.

The invention also relates to such a central part.
