    摘要: An apparatus for determining density or number of living organisms in a flow is provided, said apparatus comprising a channel (6) for a flow of living organism, said channel comprising a flattened lane made from transparent material. The apparatus further comprises a light source (4) for projecting light through a stream of living organisms, said light source being positioned below the flattened lane. The apparatus further comprises an outlet, a computer, and an optical device (1). The optical device is positioned above and directed towards the flattened channel or lane, said optical device being positioned behind at least two mirrors (5) which reflect the light from the flattened lane, wherein the computer determines the density or amount of living organism based on the amount of light reflected detected by the optical device. A method for determining density or number of living organisms in a flow is also provided.

    摘要: Disclosed is a system for grading aquatic organisms. The system comprises: a grading unit comprising at least: a pump (4) and a grader (5) having chambers each with an adjustable slit; a counter (6); two or more receptacles for receiving aquatic organisms (10) from the grader (5); and a central control system (7). The counter (6) is configured to send information to the central control system (7) on a performance of the grading process. The central control system (7) is configured to compare the information from the counter (6) to data stored in a database (8) and send feedback signals to adjust settings of each individual component of the grading unit (4, 5), including adjusting at least one of a speed of the pump (4) and a slit setting of the grader (5), during the grading process to optimize the grading process.

    摘要: The invention comprises a method, a device and a fish-farm for controlling the concentration of living organisms in fluid in order to facilitate the handling of the organisms such as grading and counting. Said apparatus comprises a first in-feed channel for a flow of living organism in a fluid (1), a second in-feed channel for a flow of fluid (2), a chamber (4) containing a lever (11) for regulating the flow from the first and the second in-feed channel through the chamber, an outlet (15), and a computer, wherein a sensor (9) is positioned in the first in-feed channel for detecting the density of living organism in the flow, and wherein the computer continuously and automatically regulates the ratio of flow from the first and the second in-feed channel through the chamber and towards the outlet by the lever in response to the density of living organism in the flow determined by the sensor.
