摘要： The current in a generator circuit breaker (3) is measured by means of the Faraday effect of an optical sensing fiber (7) looped around the breaker's conductor (4). The sensing fiber (7) is arranged in a sensing strip (29), which can be mounted to the enclosure (20) of the generator circuit breaker or to the conductor (4). The design has a wide measuring range and can easily be fitted to new or existing generator circuit breakers.
