A grounding contact (14) and a disconnection contact (15) are fixed in the interior of the housing. A drive (13), which is guided through the wall of the housing (1) and is subjected to an external force, acts on the displaceable contact element (9). The displaceable contact element (9) comprises at least one of two tubular contacts (9', 9 ) that can preferably be detachably connected to the retaining body (12). A first (9') of the two tubular contacts forms the counter-contact of the grounding electrode (E) that contains the grounding contact (14) and the second (9 ) of said contacts forms the counter-contact of a disconnector (T) that contains the disconnection contact (15). The invention relates to polyphase switching installation, each phase of which has a gas-filled, modular encapsulation. The modules comprise at least one predominantly horizontal bus bar (51, 52), a circuit-breaker (10) and two identically configured combined disconnectors (71, 72, 73) that have disconnection and grounding functions. A first (71) of said combined disconnectors supports a section of the bus bar (51) and is connected between the bus bar (51) and a first power supply connection (11) of the circuit-breaker (10). The second combined disconnector (73) is connected between an outgoing feeder (60) or an additional bus bar of the installation and the second power supply connection (12) of the circuit-breaker (10). The combined disconnectors (71, 72, 73) are aligned in such a way that two drive devices (81, 82, 83) for actuating said disconnectors are oriented in the same, preferably horizontal direction. Said switching installation has a compact construction as the drives of the combined disconnectors extend in one direction and sections of the switching installation that are connected to said disconnectors extend in the opposite direction. If the drives are oriented towards an operator aisle of the installation, the positions of the drives (81, 82, 83) and thus the switching positions of the combined disconnectors (71, 72, 73) provide easy visual access for the operator.
