摘要： @ Electrical connector for telephone wiring interface comprises dielectric base (10) having four stamped and formed first terminals (34) thereon which receive screws (37) for terminating wires (2) and have upright first mating members (41) aligned with apertures (82) in a dielectric cover (66) latched to base (10). Each first terminal (34) is formed with a stanchion (53) normal tothe base (10) and a spring contact (55) which are received on a dielectric jack (57) mounted to the base (10) to provide testing by inserting a plug (100) inserted through an aperture (84) in the cover (66). A plug member (86) has four stamped and formed second terminals (134) fixed thereon which receive screws (137) for terminating wires (4) and upright second mating members (140) arranged to mate with first mating members (41) in apertures (82). Plug member (86) has a leg (95) flanking each second mating member (140), the legs (95) being profiled to fit closely in apertures (82) to align respective mating members (41, 140) for mating, which retains plug member (86) against cover (66). Base (10) and cover (66) accommodate lightning arrestor (25) and circuitry (23) as desired.

摘要： Slotted plate terminal for insulated stranded wire (40) has folded side edges (24) on either side of the slot and a slit (26) in each edge (24) which leads to a curcular aperture (28) adjacent each wall of the slot. Wire (40) is terminated by insertion into slot and retained in the bottom by bending side edges (24) to close the slot. A low normal force remains on the strands in the bottom of the slot so that the possibility of the strands rearranging or stacking is minimized. Slotted portion may be severed at a score line (36) leaving spade type terminal (32) suitable for mating with standard clip terminal if repair is necessary.

摘要： An electrical connector for terminating two flat multi-conductor electrical cables (100,300) one (100) of which includes signal (101) and ground (102) conductors and the other (300) of which includes only ground conductors (301), comprises a body member (1) having a rowofterminals (2) on each of two opposite surfaces, a first bus member (5) which .extends across both surfaces of the body member (1), two cover members (7 and 8) one for each surface of the body member (1), a second bus member (12) mounted on one (8) of the cover members and having a bridging portion (14) extending through the body member (1), and an auxiliary cover member (16) to cover the second bus member (12). The cover members (7, 8, 16) are used to apply conductors of the two cables (100,300) to the terminals (2) and bus members (5,12).
