摘要： The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for detecting the presence of particles in a substrate the base material of which has electromagnetic properties substantially differing from the corresponding electromagnetic properties of the particles. The invention also relates to the particles and to the substrate comprising such particles which allow to recognise easily a document as being a genuine security document in order to prevent the document from being copied or in order to contribute to its authentication.
