摘要： Image magnification control device for a camera with a photographic lens (3) including a zooming mechanism, said device controlling the image magnification of an object to be photographed to be a set magnification m 0 . The device comprises means for driving said zooming mechanism to change the focal length of said photographic lens (3), means (6, 13, 14, S6) for detecting a defocus information dx of the photographic lens (3) by analysing a light having passed through the photographic lens (3), means for detecting a focal length f 0 of the photographic lens (3), setting means (6, 44, 60', SWIMG) for externally setting the image magnification m 0 in an image magnification control operation, means for detecting a distance X 0 between the rear focal point F2 of the photographic lens (3) and the position of an image (y 2 ) formed by rays of light from an infinitive position by detection of the advancing amount of a focusing lens of the photographic lens (3) when said defocus amount is not detected, means for calculating the driving amount of said driving means to maintain said image magnification m 0 based on said distance X 0 , said focal length f 0 detected with determination of said distance X 0 and said defocus amount dx and means for controlling said driving mechanism according to said calculated driving amount.
