摘要： Image magnification control device for a camera with a photographic lens (3) having variable focal length, said device controlling the image magnification of an object to be a set magnification. The device comprising defocus detection means (6, 13, 14, S6) for detecting a defocus amount dx of the photographic lens (3) to an object and image magnification setting means (6, 44, 60', SWIMG) for setting an image magnification m 0 for taking a photograph. Calculation means are provided for calculating the control focal length f 1 , required to maintain the image magnification at the set magnification based upon defocus amount dx detected by the defocus detection means and for calculating the driving amount (Pz), required to meet the control focal length f 1 .
