摘要： A credential production device (100) includes a processing path (104), a transport mechanism (106), a processing assembly (120) and at least one assembly guide (132). The transport mechanism is configured to feed individual substrates (110) along the processing path. The processing assembly includes a supply spool support (122), a take-up spool support (124), a plurality of ribbon supports (126), and a print head (190) or a transfer roller (152). Each assembly guide is configured to guide movement of the processing assembly substantially perpendicularly to the processing path between an operating position (134) and a loading position (136) relative to the processing path.
