The invention relates to a stabiliser for an underwater towed antenna (10), with a towed body (11), embodied with favourable flow properties and a roll axis (13) which runs through the connection point with the towed antenna. According to the invention, the positional stabilisation of the towed antenna (10), even at high towed speeds, may be guaranteed and a weight reduction which facilitates the handling of the towed antenna (10) on extracting and bringing in said antenna is achieved, whereby at least one fin-like profiled body (21) is arranged externally on the towed body (11), which may be rotated about a vertical axis (22). A control device (23) is integrated in the towed body (11), which adjusts the rotational angle of the profiled body (21), depending upon the roll angle of the towed body (11), such as to exert a returning roll moment on the towed body (11).

The invention relates to a submarine antenna for attachment to the hull of a submarine. Said submarine antenna has at least one antenna segment comprising a planar converter arrangement of a plurality of electroacoustic converters which are vertically and horizontally interspaced in a row and a plate-shaped reflector (13) arranged behind the converter arrangement in the sound incidence direction. In order to acoustically decouple the reflector (13) from the hull and to absorb shock loads and vibration loads without damages to the structure, fastening means fix the reflector (13) to a support which is connected to the hull and comprise screws (19) having a screw head (191) and a screw shank (192) which is guided through a rigid sleeve (20). A first spring-elastic element (22) is arranged between the screw head (191) and the reflector (13) and a second spring-elastic element (23) is arranged between the reflector (13) and the support. A cavity provided between the hull wall (11) of the hull and the fixing tracks (18) is filled with a moulding mass (21) which enclose the lugs (17) with a positive fit.

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an underwater cable (101), in particular a trailing cable for a trailing antenna of a watercraft, wherein the underwater cable (101) has a cable core (110) and an outer sheath (108, 109), and at least the cable core (110) is manufactured under a pressure which deviates from ambient pressure such that the cable core (110) is manufactured free of air bubbles, and the underwater cable, which has been brought to a depth under water and subsequently brought back to the surface of the water, has at most a change in density of ± 5.0%, in particular ± 3.0% or ± 1.5%. The invention additionally relates to an underwater cable, a submarine cable, a towed array sonar, and a vehicle.
