The invention relates to a rotating brush, more particularly a sweeping brush for a sweeping machine, the rotating brush (20) comprising a brush body (36) that defines a brush axis (38), it being possible to build said brush body from axially extended shell parts (40, 41), on the radially outer side of each of which is fixed a bristle fill (39) of the rotating brush (20). In order to provide such a rotating brush and such a sweeping machine which can be handled with greater ease, the invention proposes that at least one shell part (40, 41) comprises on the radially inner side at least one first aligning element (52) and at least one second aligning element (53) spaced apart from the first aligning element in the circumferential direction of the brush axis (38), between which aligning elements is formed a receptacle (58) for a drive part (26, 28) for the rotating brush (20), which receptacle (58) is defined in portions by end faces (56, 57) of the aligning elements (52, 53), each of which faces the other aligning element (52, 53), at least one of the end faces (56, 57) being oriented obliquely relative to the radial direction and the receptacle (58) narrowing in a radial direction pointing away from the brush axis (38). The invention relates to an automotive roadsweeper (10) comprising wheels for travelling along a ground area, at least one sweeping brush (24) that can be rotatably driven to sweep said ground area and a dirt container (36), which can be supplied with a vacuum by a vacuum unit (40) via a suction channel (77) and which is connected to a suction port (22) via a suction line (80) in order to receive swept debris. The aim of the invention is to improve the roadsweeper (10) to obtain a better cleaning result with the lowest possible energy consumption. To achieve this, at least part of the suction channel (77) is integrated into the dirt container (36) and the outlet (89) of the suction line (80) that opens into the dirt container (36) is located next to at least one inlet region (91, 93, 95) of the suction channel (77).

The invention relates to a ride-on floor cleaning machine (10) having a rotationally drivable disc-shaped cleaning tool (18) which is releasably held on a tool holder (25) connected to a drive shaft (20) in a rotationally fixed manner. In order to develop the floor cleaning machine (10) in such a way that the cleaning tool (18) can be exchanged in a simple manner, it is proposed according to the invention that said cleaning tool (18) can be releasably latched with the tool holder (25) and can be separated from the tool holder (25) in the axial direction by means of a disengaging mechanism (62) which can be actuated by the user.
