摘要: A non-transitory computing device readable medium storing instructions executable by a processor to cause a computing device to perform a method, comprising: identifying, in a treatment plan, a plurality of jaw placements of a jaw of a patient, wherein each of the plurality of jaw placements corresponds with at least one stage of a plurality of stages in the treatment plan for repositioning at least one of the patient's teeth; determining, for at least one of the plurality of jaw placements, positions of repositioning jaw elements of a removable dental appliance, wherein the repositioning jaw elements are designed to extend from the removable dental appliance, and wherein the removable dental appliance is configured to reposition the patient's jaw and at least one of the patient's teeth; providing a visual indication of the positioning of the repositioning jaw elements relative to a digital representation of the patient's teeth.

摘要: A support is coupled to an appliance to decrease warpage. The support may comprise a plurality of extensions coupled to the appliance to decrease warpage. The extensions can be coupled to the appliance at one or more of many locations, such as on an occlusal surface, a wall, an edge or an interior of the appliance. In some embodiments, the extensions are coupled to walls of the appliance such as a buccal wall and a lingual wall, and the extensions can be coupled to the walls of the appliance near edges of the walls, such as a gingivally facing edges of the walls that are oriented toward the gingiva when the appliance is worn.

摘要: The present disclosure provides method, computing device readable medium, and devices for dental appliances with repositioning jaw elements. An example of a method can include identifying a misaligned jaw of a patient from a virtual image of the patient's jaw, providing a treatment plan for the patient including a virtual model of a dental appliance having a first shell and a second shell configured to reposition at least one tooth of the patient, and adjusting the position of the repositioning jaw elements on the first shell and the second shell to comply with a number of constraints. The virtual model of the dental appliance including repositioning jaw elements on the first shell and the second shell configured to move a position of the misaligned jaw of the patient.
