摘要： A door handle device 1 for a vehicle according to the present embodiment includes: a handle member 3 attached to a door 2 to be handled by a user during opening and closing of the door 2, the handle member 3 having a front cover 30, and a back cover 31 provided integrally with the front cover 30, the back cover 31 being arranged at a position closer to the door 2 side of the vehicle than the front cover 30; and a handling detection sensor 4 for detecting the handling of the handle member 3 by the user, wherein the back cover 31 includes: a pair of movement-restricted portions 32, 33 arranged at both ends of the back cover 31 in a longitudinal direction 3a, wherein relative movement of the pair of movement-restricted portions 32, 33 to the front cover 30 from a front side to a back side and from the back side to the front side in a front-back direction 3b of the handle member 3 is restricted; and a flexible portion 34 arranged between the pair of movement-restricted portions 32, 33, the flexible portion 34 being bendable according to the handling by the user; and wherein the handling detection sensor 4 detects the bending of the flexible portion 34.
