摘要： A folding pocket utility knite includes a front handle, and a rear handle pivotally mounted to the front handle via a pivot. The rear handle contains a cavity configured to contain at least a portion of the front handle within the cavity. A blade holder is mounted inside the front handle for holding a blade, and a bendable blade strap is attached to the blade holder and to the rear handle. The blade strap extends around an outer circumference of the pivot to move the blade holder from a closed position where the front handle is in the cavity and the blade is completely within the front handle, to an open position where the front handle is not in the cavity and the blade extends from a terminal end of the front handle.

摘要： A scraper is provided with a first member having an upper housing and a lower jaw, a second member having a lower housing and an upper jaw, and a slide latch for clamping the upper housing to the lower housing. The first and second members are pivotally connected to each other such that when the upper and lower housings are clamped together by the latch, the upper and lower jaws are clamped together to hold a blade between them. The slide latch engages an end portion of the upper and lower housings in order to clamp the jaws together. The slide latch has ridges to assist a user to push the slide latch forward to lock a blade into place and backward to release a blade. The lower housing has a cavity for storing spare blades.

摘要： A snap-off knife is provided, having a metal sleeve, a blade contained within the metal sleeve and slidably extendable through a first terminal end of the metal sleeve, and a cap having a cavity such that the cap is capable of fitting over the first terminal end of the metal sleeve from which the blade extends. The metal sleeve also has an open section for allowing a slide button to move along the open section of the metal sleeve in a direction parallel to the direction that the blade extends and retracts. The cap has a narrow slot for placing over the exposed portion of the blade while the blade is being snapped off by the user. The cap is capable of fitting over a second terminal end of the metal sleeve located opposite the first terminal end.

摘要： A scraper, such as a wall scraper using a standard replaceable blade, is provided with an adjustable scraper head for changing the attack angle of the blade to suit the user and/or the job. Embodiments include a scraper having an elongated handle and a scraper head for fixedly holding a blade, the scraper head being pivotably mounted to an end of the handle for positioning the scraper head at a selected angle to the handle. A lock, engageable with the handle and the scraper head, fixes the scraper head at the selected angle. The lock has a knob for gripping the scraper, and the handle has a rear grip, thus allowing the user greater control of the scraper.

摘要： A blade dispenser is provided to safely and easily dispense razor blades. Embodiments include a dispenser having a housing for accommodating a stack of blades; and a push button slidably mounted at a first end of the housing. The push button has a blade catch for engaging a button-engaging portion of a blade of the blade stack when the push button moves from a depressed position to a released position, to move the blade to an extended position partially outside the housing. A first spring engages the housing and the push button to bias the push button in the released position, and a blade pusher engages an end blade of the blade stack. A second spring is provided for engaging the housing and the blade pusher to bias the blade pusher and the blade stack towards the blade catch of the push button, such that when the push button moves from the depressed position to the released position, the blade catch engages the button-engaging portion of the first end blade of the blade stack to move the first end blade to the extended position.
