The drafting arrangement (2) comprises a pair of entry rollers (3, 4), a pair of delivery rollers (6, 7) arranged downstream with respect to the entry rollers (3, 4), and a pair of intermediate rollers (11, 12) arranged between the entry rollers (3, 4) and the delivery rollers (6, 7). The ring spinning device further comprises a first supply (29) to supply a first roving (15) between the pair of entry rollers (3, 4), a second supply (30) to supply a second roving (14) between the intermediate rollers (11, 12) and a third supply (31) to supply an elastic performance filament (16) between the delivery rollers (6, 7). The first roving (15) and the second roving (14) and the elastic performance filament (16) are spun into the stretch yarn (28) in a spinning triangle (29) after exit of the drafting arrangement (2).

The invention is directed to a device (1) and a method for making of cladded yarn (9) on a ring spinning frame. The device (1) comprises a first creel (10) foreseen to hold at least one bobbin of roving (8), a second creel (12) foreseen to hold at least one bobbin of cladding yarn (13) and a draft control device (15) suitable to adjust the draft of the cladding yarn (13) before entering the spinning process. Furthermore, the device (1) comprises a monitoring device (22) to monitor the presence of the cladding yarn (13) and to interrupt the supply of the roving (7) to a related drafting unit (2) if the cladding yarn (13) is not present. The cladding yarn (13) is introduced into the spinning process by an injector (27).
