摘要: An area monitoring system is provided that allows flexible definitions of activity zones for activating a camera by using articulated motion detectors. An alignment tool is provided allowing independently positionable fields-of-view of the motion detectors to be aligned to produce a contiguous sensing region when desired. The camera and motion detectors may be part of a camera/floodlight assembly. The monitoring system could include two or more such assemblies and/or other monitoring and/or imaging devices or assemblies such as a stand-alone surveillance camera, a video doorbell, smoke detectors, etc.
