Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing porous metal sintered molded bodies, wherein expandable polymer particles, in which a sinterable metal powder is dispersed, are expanded to form a molded body. The molded body is subjected to a heat treatment, wherein the polymer is expelled and the sinterable metal powder is sintered to form a porous metal sintered molded body. Preferably, styrol polymers are used. The sinterable metal powder is selected, for example, from aluminum, iron, copper, nickel, and titanium.
