Abstract:
The invention relates to a flame retardant composition, which comprises a) At least one ester of a phosphorus containing oxo acid selected from the group consisting of phosphonous and phosphorous acid; b) At least one flame retardant component based on a nitrogen compound; particularly melamine cyanurate, and c) A polyurethane polymer base.
Abstract:
The invention describes a process for stabilizing an organic material against oxidative, thermal or light-induced degradation, which comprises incorporating therein or applying thereto at least a compound of the formula (I) wherein the general symbols are as defined in claim 1. The compounds of the formula I are especially useful as processing stabilizers for synthetic polymers.
Abstract:
The present invention pertains to compositions comprising a polyester polyol, a polyether polyol, an acrylic polyol, a polycarbonate polyol, a polybutadiene polyol, a hydrogenated polybutadiene polyol, a functionalized polyether and/or a polyurethane susceptible to thermal degradation, and at least one antioxidant of formula (101) and/or (102) and optionally further antioxidants. The present invention also pertains to the use of such stabilizer (blends) in said polyols, functionalized polyether and/or polyurethane against thermal degradation and a process for stabilizing said polyols, functionalized polyether and/or polyurethane with such stabilizer (blends) against thermal degradation.
