    摘要: Disclosed is a fiber optic backplane connector in which there are a plurality of axially spaced circuit board engaging springs (90, 94, 98) on one side of the exterior housing (46). By means of this arrangement a single connector is engageable with a number of thicknesses of circuit board (10). Also disclosed are two resilient metal arms which extend from a metal plate on one side of the connector to engage the medical flange (56) to enable the connector to be assembled without ultrasonic welding. A method for using this connector to connect fiber optic cables as well as to dissipate static electrical charges therein is also disclosed.

    摘要: Disclosed is a double row modular gang jack (10) for board edge application. A plurality of vertical walls (18, 20) are interposed between fist and second longitudinal horizontal walls (12, 14), and another plurality of vertical walls (22, 23) are interposed between the second and third horizontal longitudinal walls (14, 16). Parallel rows of plug receiving recesses (21, 24) are consequently formed between the first and second (12, 14) and the second and third (14, 16) longitudinal horizontal walls.     摘要: Disclosed is a filtered modular jack assembly having an outer insulative housing (10) with open front and end sides. A ferrite element (72) with vertical conductive wires (86, 88) is positioned adjacent the rear end, and an elongated insulative insert (94) is superimposed over the ferrite element. The insulative insert is fixed to the housing, and the conductive wires extend vertically from the ferrite element over the upper side of the insert to its terminal end and then bend downwardly and rearwardly to rest on the top surface of an interior medial wall in the housing. A method of assembling a jack with a noise filtering capability is also disclosed.
