摘要： A method of coating pipes with concrete comprises conveying a series of pipe sections to a concrete coating station, rotating a pipe section about its longitudinal axis at the station and applying concrete to the outside of the pipe (1) during rotation whilst continuously feeding a line (3) to the rotating pipe to form a winding of line around the leading end of the pipe, subsequently feeding a wire (5) together with the line to the rotating pipe to form a winding of wire overlaid with line around the pipe during the application of concrete, and cutting the wire at a predetermined time prior to completion of the concrete coating whilst the pipe is still rotating whereby the wire is wound within the concrete coating, and continuing to feed the guide line to the rotating pipe after cutting of the wire to wind the line around the tail end of the pipe. Apparatus comprises a plurality of rollers (6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12) including cutting elements (8) on rollers (7) and drive means to feed wire and a further series of rollers (4) for feeding line in a controlled manner.

摘要： Un procédé pour enrober de béton des canalisations consiste à acheminer une série de tronçons de canalisation jusqu'à un poste d'enrobage de béton, à faire tourner un tronçon de canalisation autour de son axe longitudinal au niveau du poste et à appliquer du béton sur l'extérieur de la canalisation (1) lors de sa rotation, tout en amenant en continu à la canalisation en rotation un câble de nylon (3) afin de former un enroulement de câble autour de l'extrémité avant de la canalisation, à amener ensuite à la canalisation en rotation un fil métallique conjointement avec le câble en vue de former un enroulement de fil métallique recouvert de câble autour de la canalisation pendant l'application du béton, et à couper le fil métallique à un moment prédéterminé avant l'achèvement de l'enrobage de béton tandis que la canalisation est toujours en rotation, le fil étant ainsi enroulé à l'intérieur de l'enrobage de béton, et à continuer à amener à ladite canalisation en rotation le câble-guide après la coupe du fil, afin d'enrouler le câble autour de l'extrémité arrière de la canalisation. L'appareil comporte une pluralité de cylindres (6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12), avec des éléments de coupe (8) sur certains cylindres (7), ainsi que des moyens d'entraînement pour amener le fil métallique et une autre série de cylindres (4) pour amener le câble de manière régulée.

摘要： Pipes (15, 15') of the type used in subterranean or submerged pipelines for the recovery of oil, gas, slurries or like pipe transportable materials from a subterranean well are coated sequentially in a flood coating station booth (20) including a catchment tray (40) for collecting excess coating for recycling, and pipe handling means adapted to contact a pipe at predetermined times and in a predetermined manner permitting the pipe to be progressively advanced through the coating booth without the need for pipe supports passing under the flood coating which avoids the integrity of the applied coating becoming compromised by the pipe handling means and minimises the risk of the handling apparatus becoming fouled by coating spillage.
