摘要： A base for a photosensitive drum composed of a resin composition attached to a high-speed image forming apparatus has a structure in which a gear is attached to one end of the base body through a flange part of 0.1 to 5 mm in thickness. The base is integrally molded by injection molding, and therefore the gear is not deformed when released from the mold. As a result, a photosensitive drum produced from the base has a good rotation precision and a good drive transmission and enables formation of high-quality image.

摘要： A cylindrical base for a photosensitive drum composed of a conductive resin composition containing a resin base material and a conductive material mainly containing carbon black, on which base a solvent-using photosensitive layer is directly formed, is characterized in that the resin base material mainly contains a mixed rein wherein (A) a polyester resin and (B) a polycarbonate resin is blended at a ratio (mass ratio) of (A)/(B) = 50/50-90/10. The base for a photosensitive drum is excellent in chemical resistance, formability, dimensional accuracy, and adhesion to the photosensitive layer, while being excellent in dimensional stability. A photosensitive drum using such a base exhibits good printing performance and excellent durability.

摘要： A photosensitive drum-use substrate used in electrophotographic process is produced by ultrasonic-welding a resin-made flange or gear flange to an end of a cylindrical substrate formed from a conductive resin composition in which a conductive material and a filler is mixed/dispersed into a substrate resin. Ultrasonic welding can efficiently produce a photosensitive drum-use substrate, and positively provide a high-rotation-accuracy photosensitive drum-use substrate. Such a photosensitive drum-use substrate, when used, can form a high-quality image.
