The rear releasable connectors (134) are linked to the front releasable connectors (36, 136) by a coupling mechanism (52, 88, 92) which inhibits engagement of the front releasable connectors (36, 136) when the rear releasable connectors (134) are in their released position. The front releasable connectors (136) are mounted on retractable front legs (138) for movement between a deployed position and a stowed position, and blocking means (160) operate to inhibit engagement of the rear releasable connectors (134) when the front legs (138) are stowed.

摘要： A buckle for a seat belt, comprises a buckle housing (10) and two tongues (12, 14). The buckle housing (10, 90) contains two latching levers (40, 42) arranged for angular movement about respective spaced mutually parallel pivot axes (44, 46). The levers (40, 42) have hook formations (52, 54) which are shaped so that a force applied to a tongue (12, 14) in a direction to remove it from the buckle housing (10) tends to cause displacement of the corresponding lever (40, 42) from its locking position to its release position. Blocking means (80) is manually movable between a blocking position in which the levers (40, 42) are retained in their locked positions and a release position in which the levers (40, 42) are free to move between their locking positions and their release positions.

摘要： An infant safety seat for use in a motor vehicle, having a rigid seat back (12), is adapted to be mounted in a vehicle so that a seated occupant faces rearwardly. The side of the seat back (12) facing away from the occupant has a guide (30) for receiving a shoulder portion (24) of an adult seat belt and a clamp (28, 32) for inhibiting movement of the shoulder portion (24) of the adult seat belt relative to the seat back (12).
