摘要： The invention relates to a scalding tunnel (2) for slaughter animals (20) such as pigs or goats, comprising steam-discharging nozzles (30), which are mounted inside the scalding tunnel and along the path of conveyance of the slaughter animals. In order to be able to operate the scalding tunnel having a structurally simple design in an energy efficient manner and to be able to set homogeneous or largely homogeneous environmental conditions inside the scalding tunnel, the invention provides that the nozzles (30) are multicomponent-discharging nozzles having at least one connection for steam and one connection for water, whereby the nozzles discharge a mixture consisting of steam and of water that is sprayed therein.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for the carving of half-pigs (10), whereby each half-pig is transported through the working region of a robot (18) by means of a conveyor (23) and processed in a supported position by a tool (38), operated by the robot, said half-pig being previously recorded by an optical system and data obtained thereby supplied to the robot for control thereof. According to the invention, a processing of the half-pigs can be carried out precisely at high throughput, whereby, during processing of the half-pig (10), the same is fixed between a strip- or band-like first element (28, 30, 32, 34), running synchronously with the conveyor (23) on the side of the robot (18) facing the pig-half and at least one further element (42, 44) running on the opposite side.
