摘要： An armoring system (20) comprising at least first and second strips (42, 52), a forming roll (60) comprising first and second roll segments (71a, 71b, 72a, 72b) disposed adjacent to one another. Both the first and second strips (42, 52) are formed into profiled shapes in cross section by the forming roll (60). The first and second strips (42, 52) are offset from each other in the major axis of the cross section of the strips and simultaneously helically wound into a formed tube after passing through the forming roll (60). The armoring system has an increased production rate compared to a single strip armoring system.
