The copolymer is characterised in that the chain thereof comprises repeating units -O-CH2 CH(-CH2-O-SO3-Li+)-, repeating units -O-CH2- CHR-, in which R is H or CH3, and, optionally, repeating units -O-CH2-CH(-CH2R')-, in which R' is a functional group. The invention can be used to produce an electrolyte in electrochemical devices, selective membranes, reference membranes.
