摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and apparatus thereof for non-random-access channel switching in a non-terrestrial network, wherein said method is configured to be executed by a terminal device, the method comprising: determining path loss change information before and after switching of the terminal device; determining the transmission power of an uplink signal with the target network device according to said path loss change information. Thus the terminal device determines the transmission power of the uplink signal, thereby avoiding the situation that the transmission power of the uplink signal is too small, such that the target network device can reliably receive the uplink signal while interference of other network devices by the uplink signal is avoided, reducing the power consumption of the terminal device and improving the performance of the terminal device.
