a rotably fixed hammer member (102) having non-rotating hammer teeth (106) and a rotatable hammer member (100) having rotating hammer teeth (104) each mounted around the output spindle (40), the movable hammer member (100) cooperating with the fixed hammer (102) member to deliver vibratory impacts to the output spindle (40) in a hammer-drilling mode;
a mechanical speed shift pin (90) that communicates with the shift sub-assembly (124);
an electronic speed shift pin (92) that communicates with an electronic speed switch (178) that sends a signal to a controller (200) thereby providing an additional speed mode; and

摘要: A drill (10) includes a housing (14) and a motor (20) coupled to an output member (152) by a transmission (22). The transmission (22) can selectively couple the output member (152) to an output spindle (40) through a low speed output gear (120) or a high speed output gear (122) for rotating the output spindle (40) at a first speed or a second speed, respectively. Alternatively or additionally, a low speed mode can be provided by actuating an electronic switch (178) that limits the speed of the motor (20). A rotatably fixed hammer member (102) and a rotatable hammer member (100) can be mounted around the output spindle (40). A mode collar (26) can be rotatably mounted on the housing (14) and around the output member (40) for movement to positions that correspond to various mode of operation, including a low speed mode, a high speed mode, and a hammer-drilling mode. In the hammer-drilling mode, the transmission (22) operates in the high speed mode.

A motor control and power module (200) is disposed in close proximity to the motor (100), including a power switch circuit electrically coupled to the motor and a first controller configured to control a switching operation of the power switch circuit for supply of power from the battery pack (40) to the motor. A battery management control module (300) is disposed in close proximity to the battery receptacle, including a second controller distinct from the first controller, the second controller configured to manage an operation of the battery pack (40).

摘要: A chop saw (100) includes a base assembly (12) and a saw assembly pivotally attached to the base assembly (12). The base assembly (12) has a workpiece-supporting plane. The saw assembly has a blade (22) and a motor (27) driving the blade (22). A hinged connection between the base assembly (12) and a saw assembly allows a user to rotate the saw assembly from a position where the plane of the blade (22) extends through the workpiece-supporting plane to a position where the plane of the blade (22) does not extend through the workpiece-supporting plane. In such position, the plane of blade (22) may be substantially parallel to the workpiece-supporting plane. A switch (28S,63) or sensor may detect when the saw assembly is in the pivoted position so that the motor (27) cannot be activated in such position.
