摘要： An environmentally beneficial, flame retardant, halogen free polymer composition, which on a total of 100 % by weight comprises:

5-40 % by weight of a polar ethylene copolymer;
5-40 % by weight of a polypropylene (PP) polymer;
5-40 % by weight of an ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) ;
1-10 % by weight of silicone;
20-40 % by weight of an inorganic filler which is a compound of a metal of Group IIA of the Periodic Table of Elements, excluding hydroxides and hydrated compounds.

An electric cable is also disclosed which comprises a conductor and is provided with a coating and/or sheathing of a polymer composition as defined above.
