摘要: A delivery system (30) comprising an endoluminal device (10), an outer sheath (28) that radially surrounds the endoluminal device (10), a pusher (27) positioned at one end (11) of the endoluminal device (10) , and a linkage (32) between the pusher (27) and the outer sheath (28) that coordinates movement of the outer sheath (28) in a first direction with simultaneous movement of the pusher (27) in a second direction opposite the first direction. This delivery system (30) is particularly useful for endoluminal devices that foreshorten, and may comprise the outer sheath (28) moving a first distance (d1) and the pusher (27) moving s second (d2) where d2/d1 is approximately equal to the foreshortening ratio. The delivery system (30) of this invention enables a foreshortening device, such as a vena cava filter, or stent, graft, or combination thereof, to be deployed with its end (12) in a precise deployment location (29) without foreshortening causing the end (12) to move from the deployment location (29) as the stent (10) expands.

摘要: A tubular endoprosthesis including a polymeric material is disclosed. The endoprosthesis has a collapsed position that can be reverted to a first expanded position larger than the collapsed position by heating to a first temperature subsequent to insertion of the endoprosthesis into a cavity or lumen in a mammal. The endoprosthesis can be further expanded to a second expanded position within the cavity or lumen. The endoprosthesis may have apertures that enlarge upon expansion and embedded longitudinal struts that prevent shortening of the prosthesis.

A substantially tubular anchor stent (16) is connected to the main stent and adapted for placement in the branch lumen.
