摘要： A wearable tubing safety vest configured to harness medical treatment delivery tubing and/or communication cables. The tubing safety vest comprises a vest component having a body-encompassing component cooperable with a plurality of releasably securable flaps, and an elongate tubing harness configured to releasably receive and retain therethrough at least one of medical treatment delivery tubing and communication cables. The tubing harness may be securely engaged with the vest component or alternatively, at least one hinge component can be interposed the vest component and the tubing harness. The vest component is configured for demountably encircling a mammalian body torso, e.g, a human infant torso, juvenile torso, or an adult torso. The tubing harness may be demountably engaged with the front or with the back of the vest component. The wearble tubing safety vest may be optionally configured for demountable engagement about an animal's torso.

摘要： A raising and lowering device (10), particularly suitable for incapacitated human or animal patients (2). The device includes a load carrying support (4) having at least one elongated arm (7) including a proximal end section (7a) and distal end section (7b). The arm is pivotable on the device at the proximal end section (7a) and movable by pivoting between an operating position in which the support is positioned for carrying said load, and a stored position in which the arm forms a graspable handle allowing an operator to carry the device. The invention also relates to components suitable for use with the device. The device also includes a one-way roller bearing (46) and sprocket wheel (18). Also disclosed are a magnetic clutch (60) and a drive chain (20).
