    摘要： An image forming apparatus is disclosed in which a specific toner is used, and a transferring means has a transfer roller which is in contact wit the surface of an electrostatic image bearing member and rotates when the electrostatic image bearing member rotates. The toner is comprised of particles which have a weight average particle diameter of 4 to 12 µm, and in a circularity distribution for particles 3 µm or more in circle-equivalent diameter which are included in the toner, particles having a circularity of 0.90 or more account for 90% by number or more.

    摘要： The image forming apparatus includes a fixing portion, a temperature detection element, and a power control portion, wherein the power control portion is capable of setting a first power supply control mode for supplying power according to the detected temperature for each one control cycle, a second power supply control mode for supplying power according to the detected temperature for each one control cycle and a third power supply control mode for supplying predetermined power, and switches, immediately before a leading edge of the recording material enters the fixing portion, a state of supplying the power in the first power supply control mode to a state of supplying the power in the second power supply control mode, and then switches the state of supplying the power in the second power supply control mode to a state of supplying the power in the third power supply control mode.
